Dr. Ranieri provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages and has a particular interest in ocular pathology and contact lenses. While in Optometry school, she volunteered her time in Boquete, Panama providing eye care to the local under serviced community. She hopes to continue volunteering her time. She also performed research on the “Contact Lens Assessment in Youth” study group on projects regarding the cornea, contact lenses and public health.
Prior to pursuing a career in Optometry, she played squash professionally, winning the Canadian Women’s Championship and competing in tournaments all around the world. A highlight of her career was earning 3 medals (including the team event Gold) at the Pan american games in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2008.
Her passions are sports, including squash, tennis and soccer, traveling and spending time with family.
